I received a new calling this week! I am now the First Counselor in the primary presidency. I am really excited. It will be lots of fun and the rest of the girls in the presidency are awesome women, I am excited to get to know them better. I was informed that I get to write and put together the primary program for this fall, that will be interesting since I have a hard time writing talks for church. I am up for the challenge though. I have been the 8 and 9 year old activity day leader for about 2 years now I will really miss the girls and miss my assistant, she has been awesome. We are neighbors so we will still see each other all the time but it was fun working with her. I have to admit I was running out of ideas though. So I guess it was time for a change.

New Calling!

Primary is so fun, I am the secretary in our ward. I LOVE IT!! We have a huge primary though. As far as the program, I know the first counselor in our ward has gotten a ton of ideas on the internet. In fact, I think she got the whole program from the internet last year. If you need help, I'm sure I can ask her where she finds her info. Good Luck!! We need to get together, life has been so crazy because I have been so sick. I am not sure how much longer I can handle it especially with the kids out of school now. Hopefully it passes soon!!
Actually, I think all the vaseline is out now... after washing it about 12 times! We did try dish soap and it didn't work as well as I would have thought. What worked the best was baking soda. I washed her hair in that about 4 times and I think it looks about back to normal now. Yesterday it looked like her hair was permanently wet! Ahh... keep the vaseline out of reach!
