Rafael's family surprise

TOBY Thursday night Aug. 31st after we were all in bed Rafael said "I need you and the kids to be up at 9:00 in the morning" just to let you know we are never up by 9:00. So I said "why?" He said "it's a surprise" and that is all he would say. So we got up at 9:00 and were in on the couch when someone came to the door. Chase and Rafael answered the door. It was Connie who works with Rafael and she had her little dog Toby with her. Well TOBY was the surprise. She couldn't have him at her new home and needed to find a new place for him. So she asked Rafael if he might want him. She then took him home and we talked about it and decided that we would keep him. He is the best dog ever, he doesn't bark unless he wants to come in from outside. He doesn't jump or beg for food. He doesn't lick or anything. He is perfect. There is only one bad thing. He snores! But I can live with that. Oh and he is completely potty trained. Which is the best thing of all. I was talking to a friend not to long ago about not wanting a dog because I didn't want to have to do all the training. Jokingly she said yeah you just need a dog that belongs to an old man who is passing away and it needs a new home. Or something to that extent. We both kinda laughed and said I wish. Well it wasn't an old man passing away but we did get that perfect dog. He is a pure bread shih tzu and he is 2 years old. The kids love him. Here are some pictures of our new addition to the family.

MY BACK

The not so good news, Well I was working out on Friday doing squats which I don't like doing, and I felt a pinch in my back. Well for those of you who knew what happened last time I am back to the same old thing. I can barely move and when I stand up strait (I am really trying to stand strait) I look like the pictures below my whole body just bends to one side. I went to the Dr. the last time this happened and they said it is just my muscles but I am tempted to go in and get X-Rays to see if something else is wrong.

Toby is so cute! I love shih tzus. My grandma used to have 3 and we had one when I was younger. They are the best and most loyal of the smaller dogs! He looks like a sweetheart and your boys(Especially Chase and Rafael) seem to LOVE him! Thats a wonderful surprise for the whole fam! I am sorry about your back. It looks painful. Maybe you should see a chiropractor/Message therapist every once in a while. I bet it would help a lot! BTW you are looking GREAT! I am a bit jealous!

Oh no! Not again! I used to go through this all the time. My back would go out every other month or so, until I got my magnets. I feel for you. Let me know if i can do anything for you. Cute dog! We used to have a Doberman named Toby for many years!

You should go to a physical therapist. I used to work for Southern Utah Spine and Rehab. I bet they could do something more for you than just telling you it's muscles... it doesn't sound like that to me, but of course, I'm not a doctor, but if it hurts that bad I wouldn't take their word for it and just suffer through it! I hope it gets better soon though!

I love Toby, how cute is he. It's a good thing your family likes dogs. My kids are terrified of most animals. I feel bad about your back. Those pictures just don't look right. I would go to a physical therapist center and see what they can tell you.
