Ok so I really do need some help here. I have no desire to cook dinner by the time we are ready to eat. In the morning I have every intention of doing so, and then dinner time comes and all that ambition is gone. So if anyone one has any fast, easy, KID FRIENDLY recipes please send them my way. I know its work to get out your recipes and type them up, but I would really appreciate it and I am sure my family would as well. My kids are pretty picky eaters but they do eat all the basics, I want to start trying new things to see if I can get them to eat a little bit more healthy. I don't think chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and quesadillas are quit up to par.

Chelsea - okay I'm going to share my secret with you!!! lol...I still have no desire to cook either..but it has helped me cook more! There is this cool website - free and all - called Simplify Supper. The website is www.simplifysupper.com. Each month they have a calendar of meals already planned and it creates a shopping list (my FAVORITE part) - it is sooo much easier and the receipes are all pretty simple and you can choose what you want and delete things you dont. I use it all the time now - it is so much easier to go shopping for dinner for me!

So glad I am not the only one going through this. I hate to cook dinner lately as well. Connor will only eat hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly, chicken nuggets, and fruit....from a can. I don't have any advice or ideas but if you get anythign good let me know.
I know what you mean, Chels. I started making a list of main courses and side dishes so when I go shopping, I can pick several off each list for the week, and so far, so good. But I need more ideas. I am gonna check out that site!
