Any Suggestions will be appreciated!

So I have been thinking a lot lately about getting a new camera. So I can take better quality pictures of my cute kids. Then maybe I wouldn't spend so much going to get their pictures taken. Anyways I don't know a whole lot about them or what to even look for so please let me know your input on the subject. I need all the help I can get. Thanks a ton. You can tell me what cameras you like or the things I should look for. I really am clueless.

A good Nikon is the way to go, but very pricey! I also love Canon, and I have always had Kodak Easy share which I really enjoy. If you want a good picture, though you will have to spend more than just a point and shoot! That is what I have learned! I am also saving up for a new camera. Hopefully, soon! Good luck!

I personally am a Canon fan. I find they are more user friendly. Once you know what you want check craigs list and KSL. People sell their last years modles when the new ones come out. If you are paitent you can find some pretty good deals. I bought mine last year and have loved it!

Sooo Cameras just depend on your needs. If your looking to set up formal portraits...then you need more then just a point and shoot. If you just want a nice one to photograph your fam in cute moments...then I suggest Nikon (as did others on your post). It is a great and reliable brand. A good digital camera between 6-10 megapixels is MORE then enough. People think they need more then 10 but it's not necessary. Make sure it has a good zoom lens (nothing HUGE that you cant handle) otherwise you will regret not having a good zoom. Costco has a great variety of deals and nice cameras! Check them first. Or ask me and I will come help! hehe
