Cyd just had her 18 month check up. She was actually 19 months though.

she jumped up from the bottom of the charts to a little closer to average this time around. The Dr. was excited about that.

Cyd at 18-19 months

• copies everything you say


• loves her brothers and sister


• says la lot of phrases some of them "lug you" love you " I wan moke" I want milk "cawtoo peas" Cartoons please "I wan go owside" I want to go outside. Just a few of many


• says cow mooo, and dog ruff ruff every time she sees a cow or dog which is just about every day


• loves food


• loves to drink even more water, milk or juice


• has the cutest little skip/gallop


• her responses to everything are one of the 4 why, what, yes, or no the most common is Why! Cyd "wan go owside" mom "not right now" Cyd "why" We have this conversation about 50 times a day some days.


• favorite food is ham


• favorite cartoon is Strawberry Shortcake


• favorite toy is her baby dolls she loves to take them everywhere with her. She puts them to bed, rocks them, sings them songs, pats their back, and even gives them hugs and kisses. Way cute!


• Loves bath time


• loves her daddy and screams "daddy" and runs to him every time he comes home.


• still takes great naps


• plays catch


• helps clean and does a really good job


• loves to throw stuff away and surprisingly only throws away garbage


• loves to brush her teeth


• hates getting her hair done


• looks super cute with her first hair cut


• thinks she is at least 3 and can do anything her big brothers and sisters do


• climbs on top of the table and screams for you to get her down at least 10 times a day


• loves to play in the toilet yuck


• almost went potty for the first time today 4/1/11 she told us she needed to go and she sat on the potty for a minute then wanted down, then wanted back on, then wanted down, and then peed on the floor. I was proud anyways that she told us she needed to go.


• went to the dentist for the first time and did awesome with x-rays and getting her teeth cleaned. She looked so adorable in that big old dentist chair.


• She is such a doll and makes us smile all day long. Can't believe she will be 2 this summer. She is so much fun and she keeps us all entertained, smiling and laughing all the time.
